Before CeCe began staunchly standing by Mr. Namaste’s side, there was another loving Mrs. Namaste and her name was Maxii. She passed away in real life. I could sense their pain, and I could see that she was very missed. The second event I filmed was The Gospel Show 3 and that video was dedicated to Maxii. Mr. Namaste had this to say about his two loves, “MsCeceSmith is a very dear friend of mine whom I have developed strong feelings for. She has been there for me at times when I wasn’t sure I could make it. My ex-wife’s passing was very hard on me, and CeCe helped me work through it. She never asks for anything, and she never tries to replace my ex-wife per se, but it is obvious that her and I are very comfortable with each other. She has such a bright spirit, and she compliments the things I do so very well. I believe when you need something or someone in your life…for whatever reason…God listens to you, and will open another door for you. Life isnt over for me, and I have found someone that I can once again dream with.”
About Maxii specifically, he said, “The love of my ex-wife, Maxii, will never fade, and she will forever be in my heart and soul. She wouldn’t want me to be miserable, and hurting like I was…she would want me to get on with my life, and be happy…this much I am sure of. So I have found someone who brings that to me and she knows, and has a lasting respect for the love and memory of Maxii. I so appreciate the way CeCe helps me, and never feels jealous of my lost love, and never tries to go one better. She was heaven sent…and I love her very much. She is the newest member of Namaste…and we have lots of plans for the future~~~TBA.”
Maxii’s devoted daughter, Lea, said, “My mother Maxii, I must say was the gem and diamond of our family, She shared my father’s vision with him. I remember the day both of them asked me to be their daughter I was over joyed and we hit it off right away. When my mother went home to the Lord, a big piece of me went with her as the whole family, she was the Matriarch that kept us whole.”
FS had these heartfelt words to share about Maxii, “MAX was my best friend, the most caring, loving, person I ever knew. She loved all and everyone loved MAX who came in contact with her. It was like she was a heavensent ANGEL with a bright shining light.”
